Isyraf turned 2 on 24 November 2008. Cousin Ariz joined us for the candle blowing and cake cutting :)

Had a small birthday do on Sunday. Daddy cooked!! Food was good of course, with daddy’s famous bbq receipe. It rained but not very heavy. Nanny’s place turned from ‘wedding souvenires factory’ to ‘Isyraf’s playroom’ within minutes…in the midst of all the renovation hehe. Can you imagine?

2) Bicycle from Grandma and Tok Ayah
3) RC Car from Tok Fee and Nanny Tita

Being the wedding planner for my brother’s upcoming wedding in December is not easy… but I enjoy every minute of it. It’s definitely not a chore when you enjoy doing it. We have started doing the initial preparations such as bookings of venues, caterers, buying materials for our dresses, wedding souvenirs, arrangements of wedding gifts to the bride and other necessary items which, I hope, I have already inserted in my PDA.

The theme is pink – not bright pink, baby pink.

Gifts for the bride will be done by my dearest friend Ija. Here’s a photo of the ‘hantaran’ Ija had done for a friend before. Sweet & simple. Also pinned up below is a few of my favourite wedding gown design (especially love the white one).

I have no idea how the bride’s dress will be. And I have yet to send mine to the designers. It’s late, I know. I will do it tomorrow (always my excuse). The thing that is really stalling me is my missing red-pink-white printed chiffon material – which I still cannot find despite my search-for-my-kain team’s effort over the weekend! I really have to go find it. It’s really nice and I plan to have it tailor made for me to wear to the nikah ceremony. Keeping my fingers crossed so I will find it tonight. Putting my missing ‘kain’ topic aside, I found this realllllllyyyyy nice dress designed by Allison Blake. Isn’t it pretty? Very sweet and flowy. Perfect :)
